UK vs. UL (dental style)

What better way to enjoy a crisp fall night than with some football! The big UK vs. UL football game is tonight, but last night UK played UL dental style. It is unique to have 2 dental schools in the same state, so they totally had to play for the "title" too. The guys and girls both played a flag football game last night. Mitch and Uncle Chaz played, so we were there to cheer them on! Which, side note about cheering... Scarlett got so startled when people would scream really loud (like they do at sporting events) and it was cracking us up. We would tell her it was okay and she would laugh and laugh.

Scarlett was wearing her UK blue! She stayed up extremely late last night, but slept like a champ last night and took a 3.5 hour nap today (which we had to wake her up early from).

It might be kind of hard to see, but Mitch is the one with his hind-end up in the air and Chaz is ready to run.

Needless to say, the guys lost :( They played really well though. Here is Scarlett with 2 of her main men (who she is CRAZY about).

And today, we are homebound. Our street has been almost full from game-day parking since about 3:00 p.m. (4 hours before kick off), so we are enjoying this gorgeous fall day at home.

Mitch and Scarlett shared an apple after our little zombi arose from her afternoon nap.
