Scarlett's pediatrician is going to be out of town next week on her official 6 month "birthday" so we went and had her check-up this morning. She got 4 shots, including a flu shot. She cried pretty hard but recovered quickly. It is always so heart-wrenching to watch. Here are her 4 & 6 month stats to compare:
4 months:
length- 26.5 inches (95 percentile)
weight- 16 lbs 8.5 oz (95 percentile)
head- 44 (95 percentile)
6 months:
length- 28.5 inches (above 95 percentile)
weight- 19 lbs 13 oz (above 95 percentile)
head- 44.5 (above 95 percentile)
Scarlett is growing like a weed! We are SO thankful for a big, healthy, happy girl. We are planning to start solids in the coming days.... she is having her first taste of rice cereal today. We will see how she likes it...
Here is our robust girl before we left for her appointment. It was chilly this morning so she wore a little sweater outfit that has lambs on it... I have been so excited to see her in it.
