Scarlett's Uncle Chaz bought this adorable green dress while he was studying abroad in Chile last January (2010). It is such a cute story because I was pregnant with Scarlett at the time and he wanted so badly to bring something back for her. It was actually a hilarious exchange between him and a Chilean woman in the market. He said she kept asking what size the baby was and he could not think of how to say she was not born yet in Spanish, so he just said she was big. Well he could not have been more correct since she came into the world at 10 lbs 2 oz! Anyhow, it is so funny to think of my sweet brother picking out something special for his first niece. We had the perfect opportunity for her to wear this very special dress with the nice weather in Key Largo...
This is Scarlett's "camel driving" hat. It looks like something you would wear while crossing the dessert on a camel! We have to be sure and keep the sun off of our fair little maiden :)
