Coming to an end...

Summer is coming to an end here on the Owen Range. Mitch will be back to school on Monday and that means Scarlett and I will be doing our thing (which we love!). I cannot believe it is actually Mitch's last year of dental school. He has always been in school since we have been married (we got married young). I am just so excited and anxious about the next chapter of our life. There are so many unknowns right now. This time next year Mitch won't be going back to school... he will be a licensed dentist going to work. I have no doubt that he will be incredible at that, I just wonder where "the Owen Range" will be on August 8, 2012! While I feel like there are so many unknowns today, there are some very important "knowns" that I want to remind myself of. I thought maybe my sweet readers could use a little reminder too:

Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I entrust my life. Psalm 143:8

So, do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Isaiah 41:10

You hem me in behind and before, and you lay your hand upon me. Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? Psalm 139: 5 & 7

And here is little miss attitude... I take one look at that face and smile.

This look says to me, "Fiddle dee dee silly mama. We will think about that tomorrow.... After all, tomorrow is another day. Now, get your pearls on and let's play!" Oh, my Scarlett.

To "celebrate" summer we ate an early dinner at one of our most favorite restaurants yesterday, Bella Note.... When we first walked in Scarlett was acting crazy so I told Mitch we might need to walk straight out or get our food to go. But she proved me wrong and was an angel the whole time! Thank you, Scarlett.

What says summer more than running through a sprinkler in nothing but your diaper? We came straight home and stripped SJ down and turned on the sprinkler! As you will see, she loved it.

In other news... it is Consignment Sale season!! WooHooo!! We went to one on Friday. I picked up a few great things. Clothes are usually what I am most interested in. I found Scarlett a MiniBoden coat, some darling embellished OshKosh overalls, and some brand new Bella corduroy overalls.

For those mommies who want to know of a great sale coming up, the Little Treasures Sale is fabulous! I will be selling there and cannot wait to find some treasures too!

And finally, I have to include this picture of someone Scarlett just adores -- Uncle Chaz (my little brother). Chaz started dental school last week and we have loved seeing him a lot. We are looking forward to many dinners together this semester.
